Splash your way into summer at CPNS! Spend sunny mornings running through the sprinklers, playing with friends, and exploring our huge outdoor play yard. Our outdoor camp is open to children ages 2.5–7 and is led by our fantastic Pre-K teacher, Lori.

Camp is held in two-week sessions, Monday-Thursday, from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM. Parents are expected to co-op just once per session!

2026 Camp Sessions:

Session 1: June 15 - June 25
Session 2: June 29 - July 9
Session 3: July 13 - July 23

Lunch Bunch Option

We’re pleased to offer Lunch Bunch from 12:00–12:30 PM, Monday–Thursday, for $100 per session. This is a calm, cozy time for children to eat together, enjoy stories, and wind down after a fun-filled morning. Children must bring their own packed, nut-free lunch from home.

Camp Tuition (cost per 2-week session): $425
Sibling Discount: Take 10% off of a sibling's camp tuition by using discount code SIBLING at checkout!

Lunch Bunch: +$100
Parent Workday Requirement (per child): Once per session OR $50 co-op buyout available. Spots are limited. If sold out, contact membership@carlmontparents.org to be added to the waitlist.
Maximum of 24 students per session
Camp tuition is NON-REFUNDABLE

Play-Based Enriching Preschool

CPNS is a parent participation, co-operative, play-based developmental preschool for children ages 20 months to 6 years.

Located in Belmont, CA, and founded in 1961, we are a community of children, parents, and teachers working together with the common goal of stronger, healthier families.

We believe that the well-being of children, their senses of self, their values and their perspectives on the world are all greatly shaped by those charged with their care.

Programs

Our children’s program is designed to provide a gradual and smooth transition into formal education. When children learn at their own pace through guided exploration and experimentation, in a safe and loving environment, full of developmentally appropriate activities, their discoveries are boundless.

Open-ended exploration allows children time and space to develop skills by playing, tinkering, practicing, experiencing both success and failure, and reflecting on their own thinking.

CPNS is located at the rear of the Congregational Church of the Peninsula: 751 Alameda de las Pulgas, Belmont, CA 94002

Enter the Congregational Church parking lot and continue around to the rear. The CPNS main entrance is in the back next to the mosaic tile wall.
